Organic Syrah

DOC Sicilia

This intense and full-bodied wine is made of selected Syrah grapes, an international variety that has perfectly adapted to the warm and sunny climate of Sicily. This wine bears the characteristic scents of jam and spices, with a velvety and lingering taste

Grape varieties: Syrah

Vineyards: sandy soil, situated at approximately 200 m above sea level; training system: espalier spurred cordon

Raccolta: by hand into crates, in September

Maceration: for approximately 10-15 days

Fermentation: controlled temperature (24-26°C

Ageing: mainly in stainless steel vats, 5-6 months in barrique and at least 4 months in the bottle

Alcohol content: 13% vol.

Colour: purple colour with violet highlights

Nose: intense, with characteristic scents of jam and spices

Palate: full-bodied, velvety and lingering taste

Food Pairings: grilled meats, flavourful pasta dishes, wild board and game, spicy food, cold cuts, smoked and marbled cheeses

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
